My brother actualy threw a hissy fit over this. Says that a) he's blond and b) the name is stupid and c) he looks like a she. And also ranting about inapropriate use of japanese and so on but by then I'd tuned him out.

You mean take your photo and make it vectory? I just traced over most of the important shapes, like the outline of the hands and face and glasses and pants, then added stuff like the shading for the shirt. Then I spent a lot longer on little stuff, like color and the rays and finding good kanji to trace. I think the ones up there are honor, justice, and destiny or some sort of idealistic shit. Then the back stuff like rays and wording I just messed with untill I wanted to go kill something, which is generaly when I give up and call it quits.

It's really only a ninja because I can't draw noses from the bottom and figured ninja was better than pig-monster.

Do you have adobe Illustrator? It's mostly just layers, seeing what other people have done and trying to copy them and improve.
